EuroMilitia [so cal] BBQ + Canyon Run + PhotoShoot
EuroMilitia [so cal] Launced its first official event as a team on May 10th 2008, celebrating the newly picked up sponsors from ASPtuning.com and RiderSupport.net/osiris (http://ridersupport.net/osiris) , they made this event a Euro and JDM event to get a good amount of cars to show up. Things started out smooth, to kick things off they started out with a bbq to just chill and meet everyone that showed up. The Euro's dominated this event out numbering the JDM guys by a good amount. It was surprising to most of the people at the event that such diverse types of cars showed up. Anything From a beastly Ford Mustang Cobra to a buissnes suited BMW. By noon people were already amped or should i say looking forward to the highlight of the event which was the Canyon Run through Rice Canyon, Couser Canyon, and Palomar Mountain. After a few hours it was time to Begin on the long awaited canyon run. On the freeway going toward to Rice canyon all of the cars separated into groups with fastest in the front and slowest in the back, not knowing that this would cause problems. The separation caused some cars to miss the Mission Rd exit. No one relized that some cars were missing untill after we had finished the first canyon. We Decided to pull over and wait on the side of the road and wait for the others. After several minutes of waiting the second run to palomar mountain began. Palomar mt climb was fun even though some cars were having trouble going up. Overall this event a was a total success, after a few problems we managed to get things under control. Thanks to everyone one that participated in the event. This was only the first event, i wonder what EuroMilitia will be planning next.
